Speech Language Pathologist in Kansas City, MO

Role Highlights:
- Support approximately 20 elementary-aged students, fostering their communication and language skills in a supportive school setting.
- Work onsite only—experience the rewarding benefits of hands-on interaction and collaboration.
- Enjoy a part-time schedule of 2-3 days per week, perfect for maintaining work-life balance or supplementing existing commitments.
- Contract runs from late August through May, aligning with the traditional academic calendar.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required.
- Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is highly preferred.
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention planning, and individualized therapy delivery.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities.
- Current knowledge of best practices in school-based speech-language pathology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy and monitor student progress.
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals.
- Document services and progress according to school and district guidelines.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise in language development.
