Candidates will enjoy a regular weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, with the chance to engage with young learners across elementary and early childhood campuses. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a weekly timelog for approval and can look forward to working closely with a supportive director.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active SLPA license in the state of Texas
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to accurately maintain a weekly timelog
- Excellent communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to the needs of a small district environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language support services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Collaborate with educators and other school professionals to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver therapy sessions to students in one or more school locations within the district
- Document student progress and participate in team meetings as required
- Travel between campus sites as assigned (within close proximity)
- Ensure compliance with district policies and professional standards
