Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license or eligibility for licensing as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience working in a school setting strongly desired
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, staff, families, and students
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy within the school setting, both individually and in group sessions
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Monitor, document, and report student progress toward goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Provide consultations to teachers, caregivers, and staff to support speech/language needs
- Adapt therapy techniques and materials for students of varying ages and abilities
