School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Kalama, Washington

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services at the elementary, middle, and high school levels for the 2026-2027 academic year. This onsite position offers the chance to support a diverse student population with a wide range of communication needs—from mild to severe disabilities. You’ll play a vital role in improving students’ functional communication and fostering their academic success in a supportive school environment.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Washington State SLP License (Department of Health)
- Washington State OSPI ESA licensure with SLP endorsement (must be fully licensed prior to start)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with school-aged children with various disabilities
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt therapy sessions for different grade levels and needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative SLP services to students across elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans
- Document student progress and maintain compliance with special education laws/regulations
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Deliver services in both individual and group settings
- Maintain professional standards and confidentiality
This is a full-time onsite position, Monday through Friday, 7 hours per day. Interviews will begin immediately, with both Zoom and in-person options available for your convenience.
