A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Eugene, OR, to provide leave coverage through June 12, 2026. This role is based onsite within a Special Education Service Area that delivers Speech-Language Services alongside School Psychologist, Augmentative Communication, and behavior consultation services. The setting supports students with moderate to severe disabilities, emotional/behavioral challenges, and adjudicated at-risk youth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to students with diverse needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop individualized educational plans
- Utilize both low and high tech augmentative communication systems as appropriate
- Maintain confidentiality regarding student and staff information
- Communicate effectively and professionally with all stakeholders
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Oregon teaching license with Speech Impaired or Communication Disorder Endorsement and/or Oregon Speech-Language Pathology License
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with students with moderate and severe disabilities preferred
- Skilled in using augmentative communication systems
- Valid Oregon Driver’s License required
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain confidentiality
- First Aid/CPR certification may be required
