Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience working in school settings with pediatric populations
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs for primary school-aged students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
- Ability to begin work quickly and adapt to a fast-paced educational environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments of students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans targeting each child’s specific needs
- Deliver therapy sessions (individual and group) to enhance speech and language skills
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support educational progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation and progress records
- Provide support and strategies for generalization of skills across classroom settings
