An exciting contract opportunity is now open for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to serve students in a welcoming K-12 school setting. This assignment, spanning the 2025–2026 academic year (September to June), is centered around supporting elementary learners—while also providing services to a smaller group of high school students. With a manageable caseload of approximately 28 students, you’ll play an instrumental role in helping young learners thrive academically and socially.
In this position, you’ll:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ needs
- Design and implement tailored speech and language therapy plans
- Deliver direct therapy services with individualized approaches
- Collaborate daily with teachers and staff, ensuring seamless communication regarding student progress
- Take an active role in IEP meetings, helping set relevant goals
- Regularly communicate with families, providing guidance to support their children at home
- Adjust interventions as required, based on student growth and response
- Ensure compliance with IEP processes and educational guidelines
To thrive in this setting, you’ll need:
- A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- A valid state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Experience supporting school-aged children in educational environments (preferred but not required)
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
- Familiarity with IEP documentation and special education protocols
You’ll follow the school calendar, benefiting from predictable hours and academic breaks. Pay ranges from $48 to $58 per hour, and eligible professionals may access healthcare coverage along with housing and daily meal/incidentals support.
