In this role, you’ll support students’ diverse sensory and motor needs through in-depth evaluations, direct intervention, and collaborative planning with educators and family members. Your expertise will guide individualized therapy plans and contribute to each child’s academic and personal growth.
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license
- Solid background in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy
- Practical experience with sensory integration, goal setting, and progress monitoring in a school or similar environment
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to elementary school students across a range of skill levels and needs
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and ensure accurate, timely progress notes for each student
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support both individual students and classroom environments
