Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license for Illinois
- CCC-SLP certification required
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
- Comfortable managing a cross-categorical caseload
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services tailored to students’ needs across K-8 grade levels
- Maintain accurate and timely records for IEP documentation and progress notes
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create supportive learning environments
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and guidance for student success
- Adapt approaches and interventions as needed to address each student’s unique strengths and challenges
