A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the remainder of the school year in Joliet, Illinois. Qualifications:
- Must hold appropriate Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) for Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification (SLP-CCC preferred)
- Experience working in school settings with adolescents diagnosed with Specific Learning Disabilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, parents, and staff
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments aligned with educational goals and student needs
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans targeting communication skills
- Monitor and document student progress regularly
- Collaborate with educators and support personnel to maximize student success
