School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Johnstown, Ohio

Qualifications & Preferred Skills:
- Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure and current SLP certification
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Previous experience providing SLP services in a school setting
- Comfortable conducting virtual therapy sessions and using online platforms
- Skilled in evaluation, intervention, and progress monitoring for K-12 students
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to independently manage caseload, documentation, and an online session schedule
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver virtual speech and language therapy to students ranging from kindergarten through high school
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and create individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor and document students’ progress toward therapy goals
- Collaborate with educators and school staff to integrate therapy strategies within the classroom
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and strategies for at-home support
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings and contribute to team-based planning
- Stay up to date with state and federal education requirements and best practices in teletherapy
