Key Qualifications:
- Active NJ SLP License
- Valid NJ SLS Certification
- SLP-CCC status is highly preferred; CFs are also welcome if able to secure external supervision
- At least one year of experience in a school or pediatric setting is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate seamlessly across school teams
- Flexibility and willingness to travel between two nearby school sites
- Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and experience with high Autism or preschool populations is desirable
- SLPAs are not eligible for this role
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess and develop individualized speech-language plans for elementary students
- Deliver direct therapy and support within classroom and small group settings
- Consult with educators and families to optimize communication outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports according to school protocols
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff
- Commit to onsite service for approximately 35+ hours per week during the contract period
