Position Details:
- Location: Jersey City, NJ, Elementary School
- Contract Duration: Current School Year (CSY)
- Schedule: 2 days per week (Thursdays and Fridays, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
- Caseload: Approximately 19 students, primarily with ASD
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification as an SLP (CCC preferred) or SLPA credential
- Experience working within school or healthcare settings
- Background in pediatrics, especially servicing an elementary-age population
- Familiarity with teletherapy as a service delivery method is a plus
- Commitment to supporting students through individualized therapy plans
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality speech-language services tailored to students with diverse communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on speech and language goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to coordinate comprehensive care
- Track student progress and adjust therapies accordingly
