Pediatric SLP in Ontario, OR
Located in Ontario, Oregon, this opportunity offers two full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) positions and one Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) opening for the 2026-2027 school year. These roles are based onsite within a school setting, serving a diverse K-12 student population in the Vail area (zip code 97918).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech therapy services to caseloads of 25-30 students (K-12 for SLPs; K-6 for SLPA)
- Deliver early intervention services with supervision of two SLPAs by the SLP
- Manage and monitor a full-time caseload during school hours
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop individualized therapy plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team meetings
- Supervise and support the SLPA in clinical tasks and student interactions
Qualifications:
- Current SLP certification with CCC for Speech-Language Pathologists
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy within schools or healthcare settings
- For SLP applicants, ability to supervise SLPA staff is required
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is advantageous but not mandatory
- SLPAs must have appropriate certification for school or healthcare practice
- Strong communication, organizational, and team collaboration skills
Schedule and Work Environment:
- Full-time hours up to 40 hours per week
- Monday through Thursday: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
- Friday: shorter workday
- Onsite work in a supportive school environment
- Contract position for the academic year
