Pediatric School Speech Therapist | Othello, Washington
Join a dynamic team as a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supporting students’ communication needs in a school setting located in Wyoming. This contract opportunity begins with the 2025–2026 school year, with openings available for both immediate and upcoming start dates.
Position Overview
You will provide vital support through direct speech and language therapy, conduct thorough assessments, and collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance student outcomes. Your expertise will contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs) and promote progress in communication skills for school-aged children.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify student needs
- Develop, implement, and adjust IEP goals grounded in evidence-based practices
- Deliver individual and small-group therapy sessions aligned with IEP requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other service providers to ensure cohesive student support
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to state and federal regulations
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Wyoming SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply as supervision is provided
- Prior experience in school settings preferred but not mandatory
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive pay starting at $48+ per hour, varying by experience, certification status, and assignment duration

Schedule
- Full-time (35–40 hours per week) aligning with the school calendar (Monday to Friday, no nights or weekends)
