An exciting contract opportunity is available for Speech Language Pathologists (CCC required) seeking to make a meaningful impact in educational settings. This on-site position spans the academic year, from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027, and offers the chance to work across multiple school sites in the Jacksonville, FL area. You'll serve students from Pre-K through 12th grade with mild to moderate needs, managing an estimated caseload of approximately 60 students. This itinerant role means you'll bring your expertise to a diverse group of learners, supporting communication development and academic success across grade levels.
Qualifications:
- Current, active Florida Department of Health SLP License required.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC).
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred.
- Ability to adapt and manage service delivery across multiple school environments.
- Successful completion of required fingerprinting and credentialing, including verification through the AHCA Clearinghouse and obtaining a JLA badge.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services directly to students as outlined in IEPs.
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized plans, and maintain timely documentation.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure comprehensive student support.
- Participate in meetings, multi-disciplinary teams, and ongoing professional development.
- Travel between school sites as needed, maintaining flexibility in daily assignments.
