Speech Language Pathologists with active Florida licensure are sought for a full-time contract position serving Pre K-12 students with mild to moderate speech and language needs. This role is based in Jacksonville, FL, supporting multiple school sites in an itinerant capacity with an estimated caseload of 60 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech therapy services to students across multiple school locations, addressing individualized communication goals.
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with educators and families to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school district and licensure requirements.
- Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and progress reporting.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Florida Department of Health license for SLP.
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in Pre K-12 settings.
- Ability to manage an itinerant caseload and work across multiple school sites efficiently.
- Familiarity with relevant assessments and speech therapy techniques.
- Current fingerprint clearance valid through AHCA Clearinghouse or willingness to complete new fingerprinting and JLA badge application.
Location: Jacksonville, Florida (on-site only)
Schedule: 35 hours per week (7 hours per day), Monday through Friday, for the duration of the contract through late May.
