Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
- Prior experience serving K-12 student populations in school settings is preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop appropriate treatment plans for students with communication disorders
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students referred within the K-12th grade
- Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Write and maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress notes in compliance with district and state requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to support student goals and participation
- Attend IEP meetings, contribute to student development plans, and provide recommendations
- Participate in professional development to stay current with best practices and requirements
