This position is ideal for an energetic and collaborative CCC-SLP seeking either full-time (40 hours weekly) or a flexible part-time schedule. Your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist will be central in conducting evaluations, managing re-evaluations, participating in IEP meetings, and providing thoughtful case management for a diverse caseload. Additionally, your leadership skills will shine as you supervise two SLPAs—one monolingual, one bilingual—helping them grow as professionals.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current CCC-SLP credential is required
- Active state licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Strong background in evaluations, re-evaluations, and IEP development
- Familiarity with special education settings
- Comfort with supervising both monolingual and bilingual SLPAs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete student speech-language assessments, including initial and re-evaluations
- Develop, implement, and review IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Serve as a Case Manager, maintaining thorough and timely documentation
- Guide, mentor, and supervise SLPAs, fostering their growth and ensuring quality service delivery
- Collaborate effectively with staff, families, and outside agencies
