Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech, language, and communication therapy services to students
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Document student progress, keeping detailed and timely records of interventions and outcomes
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to address student needs and maximize progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and updates on student performance
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district regulations applicable to school-based therapy services
- Adapt therapy strategies to support diverse learning styles and needs
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current SLP license recognized in South Carolina
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and school personnel
