Qualifications:
- Valid South Carolina licensure for Speech Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- School-based experience or strong interest in working within an educational environment
- Proficiency in conducting therapy, assessments, and developing IEPs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct evaluations, screenings, and re-evaluations for students suspected of speech/language impairment
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to integrate therapy techniques into daily classroom activities
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team planning, and district initiatives
- Document session notes and progress in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
