Speech Language Pathologist in Leesburg, FL
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ communication needs in a school setting. This full-time, full school year position is ideal for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (CCC-SLP) as well as those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Two onsite positions are available, serving a manageable caseload of approximately 40 students, all within a supportive elementary school environment. You’ll have a dedicated therapy space, empowering you to provide focused, individualized care.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state license or eligibility; ASHA CCCs welcome, CFY supervision provided
- Previous school-based SLP experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for helping children achieve communication milestones
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students onsite for the full academic year
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with district guidelines
- Conduct assessments, document progress, and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with school and state requirements
- Utilize your personal therapy space effectively to foster a positive, productive environment
