Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid SLP license with current state certification required
- School-based experience or interest in supporting students from diverse backgrounds
- Expertise in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Comfortable working onsite, providing direct services rather than remote instruction
- Excellent organizational and documentation abilities to ensure compliance and track student progress
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to K-12 students in either group or individual settings
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and collaborate on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Consult and communicate effectively with educational staff and families, promoting student success in the classroom
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and timely reports aligned with school and state regulations
- Engage in professional development and support a positive school climate
