Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Indio, CA

Required and preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) considered
- Current Certificate of Clearance (COC) required prior to start
- Bilingual Spanish skills are strongly preferred but monolingual candidates are welcome
- Direct experience in school-based settings, especially with SEIS, is a plus
- Familiarity with California Medicaid (Paradigm) documentation or billing processes preferred
- Comfort working with mild-moderate and some severe needs populations; some students utilize AAC devices
- Flexibility to potentially serve in an itinerant capacity across multiple locations
Responsibilities will include:
- Evaluating and treating students with a range of communication needs
- Developing and implementing IEP goals with a collaborative team
- Documenting progress and maintaining compliance with district and state guidelines
- Partnering with educators and families to support student outcomes
- Traveling onsite between campuses as assigned
