Key Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license and ASHA CCC preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome
- Certificate of Clearance (COC) required before start
- Experience in school-based environments, including IEP implementation, preferred
- Familiarity with SEIS and CA Medicaid billing (Paradigm) highly desirable
- Strong preference for bilingual Spanish skills; monolingual applicants considered
- Comfort working with primarily mild-moderate cases and some students with severe needs or AAC devices
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to PreK students, working with a range of mild to severe needs
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and collaborate with educators and families
- Potential for itinerant assignments, serving multiple sites within the district
- Maintain timely documentation and compliance with all state and federal regulations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a positive learning environment
