Make a difference in the lives of elementary students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist working across two nearby school sites in the Indianapolis area. This contract role offers a dynamic environment where your expertise in school-based speech therapy will support student growth and communication skills.
Your day will run from 7:30 AM to 3:15 PM, providing consistent hours and the chance to work closely with staff, students, and families. The elementary caseload allows you to build lasting relationships while addressing a range of speech and language needs.
What you’ll bring:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Indiana
- Experience working with school-age children, preferably in an elementary setting
- Strong assessment, diagnosis, and intervention skills for a variety of communication disorders
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and educators
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities
- Flexibility to travel between two school locations as needed
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and progress monitoring
- Provide consultative support to teachers and families regarding student communication strategies
- Maintain accurate records and timely documentation to support student progress and compliance
- Participate in student-centered meetings and collaboration with education staff
