A dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC certification is needed to provide essential services in an elementary school setting in Carmel, IN. This leave contract opportunity involves working with a caseload of 72 students in grades K through 4 from March 30th to May 29th, offering focused support to young learners in need of speech and language interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Therapist of Service (TOS) for 13 case conferences, coordinating care and collaborating with educational staff and families.
- Manage and document progress reports and handle Medicaid billing requirements accurately.
- Work closely with two Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)—one supporting four days per week, another one day per week—to deliver individual and group therapy sessions.
- Provide direct speech therapy services to students, tailored to their specific goals and needs.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant policies and professional standards.
Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students (K-4th grade).
- Strong organizational skills to manage caseload, documentation, and billing.
- Ability to collaborate efficiently with support personnel and school staff.
