Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably within a school environment
- Strong understanding of evidence-based practices in speech and language intervention
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation
- Ability to manage a varied caseload while maintaining compliance with IEP and school regulations
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to elementary and secondary students
- Complete assessments, draft individualized education plans (IEPs), and track student progress
- Partner with general and special education teachers to integrate communication strategies into classroom activities
- Regularly communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress and needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state standards
- Contribute to team meetings and professional development activities
