Travel Speech and Language Pathologist - Huron, SD
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for a professional with SLP CCC or CFY credentials to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This travel position is based in Huron, South Dakota, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact in a school environment dedicated to student success. The role requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, with an anticipated start date as soon as possible for the end of the school year (EOSY).
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for K-12 students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students' communication goals.
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies and regulations.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to ongoing intervention strategies.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Certificate of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Experience working within K-12 educational settings preferred.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development as well as disorders affecting children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel to and work on-site in Huron, SD.
