Speech-Language Pathologists with ASHA CCC credentials are invited to elevate school-based communication services and foster positive learning environments in diverse educational settings.
This assignment runs from early September through May, offering a consistent 35-hour workweek with caseloads to be determined based on your expertise and the district’s evolving needs. You’ll have the opportunity to work collaboratively within supportive school teams and make meaningful contributions throughout the year.
Key qualifications and experience:
- Hold a current, active Speech-Language Pathology license and educator credentials as required by the state
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Experience providing speech and language therapy in K-12 educational environments
- Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and engage effectively with students, families, and faculty
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, progress documentation, and IEP participation
- Adaptability for diverse school assignments and changing caseloads
Responsibilities for this role may include:
- Conducting speech, language, and communication evaluations
- Delivering individualized and group therapy to students
- Developing evidence-based intervention plans and measurable goals
- Participating actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary consultations
- Maintaining accurate service records and documentation
- Communicating progress and collaborating with educators, administrators, and families
