Speech-Language Pathologist Role in Huffman, TX

A school district in Huffman, TX is seeking Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for full-time and part-time contract opportunities for the 2026โ2027 school year. There are currently two openings available, including one full-time position and one part-time position.
These positions will support students across the PreKโ12 population. The district is also open to utilizing a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to assist with a portion of the caseload, providing additional support with direct therapy services.

ยท Provide speech and language therapy services to PreKโ12 students
ยท Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
ยท Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs
ยท Provide individual and group-based speech and language services
ยท Develop and monitor appropriate IEP goals
ยท Participate in IEP/ARD meetings and collaborate with members of the educational team
ยท Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and other school professionals
ยท Monitor student progress and complete required documentation and progress reports
ยท Provide appropriate supervision and direction to an SLPA if assigned to support the caseload

ยท Previous school-based or pediatric SLP experience preferred
ยท Experience working with PreKโ12 students is a plus
ยท Experience managing a diverse school-based caseload preferred
ยท Experience working with or supervising an SLPA is a plus

ยท Masterโs degree in Speech-Language Pathology required for SLP candidates
