Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Howell, MI

Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- ASL fluency required for effective communication with students and staff
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and appropriate state licensure
- CCC-SLP credential or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates with relevant school experience are welcome
- Strong knowledge of AAC devices and systems for pediatric populations
- Prior experience or interest in teletherapy platforms is a plus
- Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams in a school-based setting
- Familiarity with healthcare documentation standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders with a primary focus on AAC users
- Provide direct and consultative services to students in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support communication goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student plans
- Utilize teletherapy tools as needed to ensure continuity of services
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to student progress monitoring
