Travel School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Houston, Texas
A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is available for the 2026–2027 school year in Houston, TX. This role involves providing vital speech and language support to students in an on-site school setting within a large urban district. Travel to various school locations within Houston may be required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Texas SLP or SLPA license (required; must provide verification)
- Experience working in school-based settings as an SLP or SLPA
- Reliable transportation for travel between school sites
- Ability to complete fingerprint clearance within the first three days of contract signing
- Availability to start and interview in coordination with the 2026–2027 school year timeline
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language screenings, assessments, and therapy sessions tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and progress
- Participate in team meetings and parent conferences as required
- Support bilingual students if applicable (bilingual candidates preferred)
