School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Houston Area | $37–$50/hr
Sunbelt Staffing is currently working with multiple school districts throughout the Houston area that are hiring Speech-Language Pathologists for the 2026–2027 school year.
With several districts and campuses hiring, these opportunities span Pre-K through 12th grade, with caseloads, student populations, and day-to-day responsibilities varying by assignment. Position Details
- Speech-Language Pathologist
- Houston, TX and surrounding communities
- Multiple school district openings
- Pre-K–12th grade caseloads
- Full-time and part-time opportunities
- Caseload and campus vary by district
- $37–$50/hour, depending on experience and qualifications
- Current 2026–2027 school year
- W-2 contract position
Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy services in accordance with student IEPs
- Complete evaluations and participate in ARD/IEP meetings
- Develop appropriate therapy goals and monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, families, special education teams, and related-service providers
- Support students with a variety of communication and developmental needs
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active Texas SLP license
- ASHA CCC-SLP preferred
- Texas educational credential/certification as required for the assignment
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Clinical Fellows may be considered for applicable openings
