Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist - Houston TX
Location: Houston, Texas Area
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists for a full-time position supporting school districts in the Houston, Texas area for the 2026–2027 school year. Minimum Requirements:
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements to be considered, including:
Active Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of Texas
Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), if required by the district
Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) licensure or Texas State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology requirements, as applicable
Texas Education Agency (TEA) certification or eligibility, if required for school-based practice
Completion of all required background checks, fingerprinting, and district clearances
Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
Participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and professional consultations
Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
