A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Houma, Louisiana, offering a travel position within a school setting. The role includes providing direct and indirect speech-language services during standard school hours, Monday through Friday, with a commitment through May 25, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy services to students.
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education programs (IEPs), and monitor progress.
- Collaborate with educators and staff to support student communication needs.
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school policies.
- Provide both direct therapy sessions and indirect consultation.
Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent experience.
- School-based SLP experience is highly desirable.
- Licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in Louisiana.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Schedule and Duration:
- Full-time, Monday through Friday during school hours.
- Immediate start date with guaranteed hours.
- Position extends through May 25, 2026.
