Speech Therapist in Elk River, MN
A part-time or full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide maternity leave coverage from April through the end of the school year at an early childhood school located in Elk River, MN. This opportunity offers contract-to-hire potential and is ideal for SLPs with school-based experience seeking a leave assignment.
Key Qualifications:
- Certification and state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Experience in school settings or early childhood education preferred
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and possession of the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) are advantageous
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for young children
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory and school guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and provide progress updates
