Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active SLP license in Alabama (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
- Compassion and enthusiasm for working with school-aged children
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 35 students in grades 3-5, providing direct speech-language services
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education staff to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to goal-setting and progress reviews
- Maintain organized documentation and adhere to school and district policies
- Deliver therapy services to students at both Greenville Elementary School and Greenville Middle School
