Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Imperial, California

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school district serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade in Imperial County, CA, with an assignment based in Calipatria, CA. This contract role, with a standard schedule of 8:00 am to 3:30 pm (37.5 hours per week), offers the opportunity to support a diverse student population across the district beginning as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to students according to individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals.
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Manage and balance caseloads effectively, with an average of 40 students per SLP when caseloads are split.
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports aligned with district and state guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
- Experience working within school settings and/or healthcare environments.
- Familiarity with pediatric populations and teletherapy service delivery.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is desirable.
- Ability to provide support across multiple grade levels (K-12).
