Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license in the state of Florida (or eligibility for licensure)
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Comfortable providing both direct interventions and support through consultative services
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy to students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other specialists on campus to support student success
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input for educational planning
- Utilize advisory support and clinical guidance regularly to maximize learning outcomes
