Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active Georgia SLP license and GaPSC Educator Certification (verification required)
- Clinical Certificate of Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience providing speech and language services in a school environment strongly preferred
- Strong commitment to supporting a diverse caseload and fostering effective communication in students
- Excellent skills in evaluation, development of treatment plans, and progress monitoring
- Collaborative approach, working closely with educators, support staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for students
- Develop applicable individual treatment plans tailored to students’ unique needs
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services onsite
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate speech goals into classroom activities
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and assist with documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with legal and professional standards
