A K-12 educational position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the Richmond, VA area. This full-time contract role supports varied student caseloads across multiple schools, focusing on speech and language development from early childhood through high school.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services to students with diverse needs
- Collaborate with teachers, SLP Assistants (SLPAs), and on-site facilitators to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, progress monitoring, and maintain detailed documentation
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and communicate effectively with parents and staff
- Adapt interventions to meet the developmental and educational goals of students across all grade levels
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Virginia SLP license in good standing
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferred but not required
- Ability to manage caseloads and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
