School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Hemet, California

Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- School certification for the state is required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse student needs
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment to students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support each student’s overall educational plan
- Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and documentation
- Engage with parents and caregivers to support student development and progress
- Provide consultation and in-service training for school staff as needed
