Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP, CFY-SLP, or SLPA) Opportunity – Helena, AR
ProCare Therapy is partnering with a school district in Helena, Arkansas, seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This is a great opportunity to work with a manageable caseload and provide meaningful support to elementary-aged students.
Position Details
1 Speech-Language Pathologist or SLPA opening
School year position
Contract dates: August 17, 2026 – May 29, 2027
Hours per week dependent on candidate availability and district needs
2 school sites
K-6 caseload
Caseload of approximately 20 students or fewer
Supportive school environment
Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders (for SLP candidates)
Active Arkansas SLP or SLPA license
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
Clinical Fellowship Year candidates (CFY-SLP) encouraged to apply
SLPAs are welcome to apply
Strong communication and collaboration skills
School-based experience preferred
Preferred Experience
Experience working with elementary-aged students
Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Responsibilities
Conduct speech and language evaluations and provide therapy services
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers
Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district and state requirements
Support students across a variety of communication needs
