This opportunity is for a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position based onsite in Heflin, AL, serving students from PreK through 8th grade. Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students PreK-8th grade
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) targeting students’ communication needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
  • Document and maintain accurate records of student assessments and therapy sessions
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives for speech and language development

Qualifications:

  • Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist, including CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
  • Experience working in school environments supporting a PreK-8th grade caseload
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to develop and adapt therapy plans based on individual student needs
