Speech Therapist in Heflin, AL

Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for students PreK-8th grade
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) targeting students’ communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Document and maintain accurate records of student assessments and therapy sessions
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives for speech and language development
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist, including CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Experience working in school environments supporting a PreK-8th grade caseload
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff
- Ability to develop and adapt therapy plans based on individual student needs
