This contract position offers a stable, full-time schedule of 40 hours per week. The role involves providing direct, primarily pull-out speech therapy services across three nearby sites, allowing for focused blocks of time at each location rather than frequent transitions. The assignment is set within an elementary school environment, supporting students in grades K-8, with occasional work involving younger children in pre-kindergarten.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy services to students in pre-K through grade 8, with an emphasis on elementary grades.
- Conduct assessments and develop tailored treatment plans to address communication needs.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to enhance student outcomes.
- Manage therapy schedules efficiently within the assigned school sites.
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with educational standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; newly certified clinicians (CF) will also be considered.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children, particularly in school settings.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage collaboratively with students, families, and school personnel.
