Qualifications:
- Active and valid Speech Language Pathologist Licensure for Virginia
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience working in K-12 school settings preferred
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and virtual service delivery
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage a varied caseload covering Elementary through High School
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to a caseload of 35-40 students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s specific needs and goals
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and write clear, thorough reports
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations for students’ educational plans
- Maintain accurate records of services, progress notes, and compliance with state and federal regulations
This assignment runs through May 18, 2027, offering consistent, full-time hours at 37.5 hours per week. The role supports a diverse range of students from elementary through high school age, ensuring no two days are ever the same.
