Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Hayward, CA

Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
- Ability to work independently with compassion and professionalism
- Familiarity with IEP processes, documentation, and related school procedures
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for referred students
- Develop personalized treatment plans that align with educational goals and IEP requirements
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions individually and in small groups
- Consult with educators, administrators, and families to optimize student progress
- Monitor and document student growth, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide guidance and resources to staff and families to foster effective communication strategies across settings
