Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Hawthorne, NY
Soliant is recruiting motivated and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support K-12 students aged 5-21 in a school setting in Hawthorne, NY. This contract opportunity offers roles that make a meaningful impact on children’s communication development within a supportive educational environment.
Positions Available:
- Full-time SLP
- Part-time SLP (2-3 days per week, flexible based on availability and caseload)
- Maternity leave coverage (July to October, with possible extension into the 2026/27 school year)
Schedule:
- 25-30 hours per week
- Typical hours: 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily speech-language therapy services to individuals and groups
- Complete daily treatment notes and maintain accurate documentation
- Prepare quarterly and annual progress reports
- Draft Individualized Education Program (IEP) reports
- Conduct monthly self-audits of notes and attendance records through CM2 system
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active New York State SLP license and TSSLD certification
- Experience working in schools and familiarity with school-based practices are highly valued
