School Speech and Language Pathologist | Hawley, Pennsylvania
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensed in Pennsylvania is needed for a contract position in central Pennsylvania, working with an elementary school serving K-2nd grade students. This opportunity offers approximately 32.5 hours per week from January 2026 through June 2026.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments and therapy to a caseload of 40-50 elementary students (K-2).
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support communication skills.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support students' speech and language development.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
- Support students in both individual and group settings.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals.
Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania SLP license (SLP-CCC preferred).
- Candidates with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply.
- Willingness to work with K-2 students in an elementary school setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload of 40-50 students.
- CFY candidates can receive supervision from an onsite SLP.
