Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to elementary-age students.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with district guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
- ASHA certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence, CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Ability to pass district-required drug screening and fingerprinting.
- Prior experience working with elementary school-aged children is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Location and Hours:
- Onsite position based in Harvey, LA, serving multiple elementary schools within the district.
- Full-time, 35 hours per week (7 hours daily with a 30-minute unpaid lunch), Monday through Friday, following the school calendar.
